Got called for an interview today from Lifecore.or aka (american income local 277). The company is a huge fraud.

They make you sit in a large group setting for interview 1. Put on a show of a presentation, making you think its TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. It is a huge fraud. Look up their real name american income local 277.

They dont give you that in the presentation. Tons of info online however if you do real research. Don't get suckered in. Do the research, use your head.

When things sound amazing and you can get trips and over 82,000 in the first year--yea it's probaly too good to be true. If you go to the 1st interview you will see. Make a smart, informed decision.

Look up pyramid scheme and MLM (multi level marketing). You will see.

Location: Winfield, Illinois

I just received a call from the same fake source. 860 e.

algonquin road. The person who called me and left their name was Chelsea. But, when I called back to speak with Chelsea she was no where to be found, twice I might add. So the first time I called to speak with Chelsea the person over the phone said she was not available to speak with and that she might be able to answer my questions.

I told her that I'd like to schedule an interview. She scheduled me one at the address above in Schaumburg IL. Well, I was feeling rather skeptical about the whole thing in the first place because I'd been getting a lot of phone calls and emails lately from Insurance companies. I don't sale insurance and don't want to.

Anyway, I called the number back, 224.801.6384. This was my second time. I asked to speak with Chelsea and again a few hours later Chelsea is yet busy which only heightened my gut feeling about the so call position. I asked the person, can you tell me again what this position is exactly about and how much does it pay?

The person responded with, "Well, it's a customer service position handling Union accounts, and it pays $50,000 to $60,000 yearly." I thought although I'm a good 40 miles away for that type of change, sure the decision to go may be beneficial. When a person is badly seeking employment we tend to be too eager and over look some vital information. So, I was about to borrow some funds from my mom to make the trip and something hit me that I never really heard the name of the business. I called back today to get the name and hopefully to speak with Chelsea but when I called someone picked up and then hung up.

I thought, that's strange. Is this they way this business roll? Maybe they have someone new answering the phones. I called again and now the line remains busy.

I then decided to use technology to see what's really going on before I in debt myself and waste my time. I looked up the address online and that's when I ran into this site. So thanks to this site and thanks for the people who take the time to warn others of their own experience. It certainly allows for us to make an educated guess.

Best of luck to all who are in search of their careers.

Peace.

Just received a call from Christina and sounds exactly like what I'm reading here. I remember where I send my resumes since I research companies before I do so.

I'm an analyst, not a flipping insurance salesperson. And their name was listed as Lloyd on my vmail.

She said it so fast I had to listen twice, then I gave up and Googled the number to find out what she said. So glad I didn't waste my meager resources on this.

I got a voicemail from a Dwayne saying he had my resume for a manager position that I applied on through careerbuilder. He said he was happy to tell me that he had his hiring manager right here and they were interested in me for a resume.

I have to call before noon today. Fun thought: I don't use careerbuilder.

He never said his company name.

But l looked up the phone number, I never applied to a LifeCore Biomedical. Maybe I am applying for jobs in my sleep.

Did you go to interview? I just got a call as well today for an interview tomorrow. Now I am not sure if I want to go

Just received a call from a man who did not give his name but my caller ID read Lonnie Clay. He also would not give me any information about the so called position to be an account manager.

He gave me the same address of 860 E. Algonquin Rd. Suite 105 and to bring resume and dress professional to meet the hiring manager.

I'm so glad I dodged this bullet. It really didn't feel right speaking to him so I Google searched and found this post.

Just got a call for an interview on a "SUNDAY" thanks to all for sharing the info. Definitely not going

Just got the call today. Did not even hear the name of the company, but wrote down all the information.

Didn't want to seem like an *** throwing my application out there and not knowing what for. If your resume is public they will call you, I never applied.

Already have a full time job, and this is 45 min out so I rather not waste my time and gas. Life insurance sales in general, not a great sales position.

Guest

Wow I just had that call. And after reading this I have to cancel that apt. I knew I hadn't sent them my resume.

This Life Core company is not leaving me alone!!! They keep calling me everyday (Christine, Sandra, John..ect) .

I already told them that i am not interested in their scam.

I agree. Got the same call but I didn't send them my resume and I'm completely lose on what the job or company about. So I feel safe then sorry.

So I just got called today from lifecore I was contacted this morning by 2 representative. The first representative that called was "Christina" 773-744-**** this was at 8:08 am and she left a VM then at 8:41 am Mariella called and left a message.

Both VMs were identical "my hiring manager reviewed your resume and would like to set up an interview. So I called Christina first and she didn't talk fast she simply said her manager and her looked at my resume. She was like i have availability tomorrow at 11 or 12. I said I can do 12 but I need to know for what position this is because another representative of yours called.

She matter of fact said customer support services and who called you. At this point she became defensive what is the name of the person who called you. was it male or female. I said female but I am not sure what her name is.

She said we'll we probably work for the same hiring manager. I said in case its for a different position can you send me information about the position. she said no i am out with my manager and will not be in the office until much later. she said go back to careebuilder and look up the advertisement.

I looked at my files of positions I applied for and lifecore was not one of them. So after this call I call back mariella and tell her I just spoke with christina and mariella was disappointed and said ok you have an apt ok bye. Christina said to bring my resume and professional attire. thank you for this information i am not wasting gas and money for a scam.

this whole thing was suspect. Also they do have a website http://www.lifecore.com/ it was so weird when i called both ladies back they both called immediately i was literally talking to christina when mariella called back 4/20/2015

I have to see to believe and you guys are jut paranoid. I had a one on one interview and they took the time to explain everything to me in the interview process.

How do you guys think that a place of employment can be a scam. Believe what you want.

I believe in having my own mind and see things for myself.

Cant wait to get started!!!

Ditto to Lasershark's comment - I got the same call from "Jose" 2 days ago and also set up an interview at 860 E. Algonquin #150 in Schaumburg, IL.

I wont be going either!! Thanks for the info!

Guest

Wow, glad I read this. I just got a vague call, too, from a fast-talker from 860 E.

Algonquin #150.

Saw my resume online. I set up an interview but certainly won't be going now.

Guest

Just got a call from Y Lopez saying his name is Jose, from 312647****. He's one of those people who have posted in the threads below asking whether it's good working for Lifecore.

Lopez, good going mate but with such comments coming up on the first page of Google, you're giving yourself a hard time. And you too were too fast to understand.

I'm not going to name you here because I don't want your name to come up in such a site when people search for you. Thank you all for posting it here.

My Fiancé got TWO phone calls within the matter of an hour and a half. Jeremy called stating that he was from Lloyd Otto and had seen his resume on Monster.

He said they were interested in him for a customer service representative and a possible managerial position. The guy talked to smooth and fast that he was confusing.

I got the same address 860 east Algonquin road suite 105. Needless to say, he is calling right now to cancel his interview before we drive all the way out there!
